Nicole Evans

CO-FOUNDER / DIRECTOR

Nicole (Nic) Evans is the co-founder of Independent Nursing Care and a passionate advocate for delivering compassionate, community-based healthcare. With a strong clinical background and deep ties to the region, Nic plays a key role in shaping the organisation’s values, direction, and commitment to personalised care.

Nicole’s journey in healthcare is inspired by a genuine passion for making a meaningful difference in people’s lives. Raised on a farm in East Gippsland, she brings not only clinical expertise but also a deep-rooted connection to the community we serve. Her blend of rural values, compassion, and professionalism shapes everything we do.

As co-founder and director, Nicole plays a central role in shaping our mission, culture, and commitment to care. Her leadership is more than strategic—it’s personal. Nicole leads with empathy, integrity, and a hands-on approach that ensures our values of compassion, respect, and excellence are reflected in every service we provide.

Nicole’s vision for Independent Nursing Care was born from a deeply personal experience. In 2020, she and her family navigated the challenges of their mother’s cancer diagnosis. Through this journey, Nicole saw first-hand the gaps in local healthcare services, especially when it came to supporting her mother’s wish to remain safely at home. This experience highlighted a pressing need for more accessible, community-based care in the region—and sparked the creation of Independent Nursing Care.

Today, Nicole remains a proud local resident and a passionate advocate for quality in-home nursing support. Her dedication to building a team of compassionate, skilled professionals reflects her belief that exceptional care starts with exceptional people.

Thanks to Nicole’s vision and leadership, Independent Nursing Care continues to grow—delivering personalised, professional care that empowers individuals to live independently, with dignity, in the place they love most: home.
